VALENTINES Swap
Do you enjoy the special romance of Valentines? What better way to show off your talent with rubber stamps, scrapbooking, drawing, poems or simply a pretty sentiment in a card! If you enjoy getting a *secret* valentine in the mail ... email Marilyn Parke (maparke2u@hotmail.com) with your snail mail address. She will then email you someone's name. Purchase or handmake (even better!) a pretty valentines and mail out as soon as possible. THEN sit back and enjoy the excitement of checking the Post office box for YOURS!
Deadline to sign up is January 10th.
Deadline to send Valentines is February lst. We recommend sending foreign members their card by January 25th to make sure it arrives on time.
Grand Astoria
Our brand new list project for 2010.... A virtual fashion runway show held in the *Grand Astoria hotel*. This is on the same principle as our virtual trailer park (well a step up hahahah).

This will be a great way to use your creativity and for everyone at all levels of miniature making to participate. Use any material to create your purse, handbag or carpetbag. The deadline is far enough in the future so you won't be rushed to come up with an entry.

Wigging 101 Classes
A new series of gratis wigging classes will be held during the month of Jan by DANA. Students will attend the hour session (beginner, intermediate and advanced), learning the basic foundation for making a realistic wigged doll. For more information email Dana@Miniatureart.com ....
Michigan Museum Exhibit
2010 Marks the 3rd year in a row we have put an exhibition at the National Miniatures Trust Museum in Michigan. A big hug of Thankx goes to Tammy Shoup for being the liason from our group, receiving all the dolls and making this possible.
