Greetings! This web page serves as a basic construction and wigging guide for the Calypso online class. Suppliment to http://www.minidolllist.com/College/Calypso/Calypso.html

Assignment:

1. Select your doll. To protect his face while creating, we suggest putting tiny plastic baggie over his head and securing with thread (yes it looks like we're suffocating him<G>).

2. Look at your doll's feet. Is he barefoot or have molded shoes. If he has molded shoes, simply paint as desired with two light coats of acrylic paint, then spray with sealer.

3. Assemble your doll.
Follow this brand new method I did for Calypso.....

A. Twist 3 pipecleaners together, bend in half forming U. Shove torso on top of "U", add a bit of cotton to hold and glue in place.

B. Slide boot on each foot, and measure so doll is 5 3/4 -

next glue on each foot.

C. Cut strips of Corban 3M wrap and wind around leg as shown.

D. Glue on cotton balls for stomach and butte and continue wrappping until you reach desired shape.

E. Glue in thic pipecleaners for arms and make sure to wrap for shoulders!!

Wig Doll .... Surprise! This is NOTHING more then a cotton ball (the loose kind that comes in medicine or vitamin bottles)... pulled apart and glued on face and head! Looks GREAT!!!!
