Sophie Rose is my 1st sculpt doll, & my first wigged doll, too!!
Her story says she lives a ways down the Highway, but she actually lives right in the Trailer court in Lot 26.
She's a dear old lady, who's never been married. Her many years of running the flower shop, Petal Pushers, in the nearby town, has given her a wealth of knowledge of most of the residents in the park. Everyone has bought flowers from her, for one occassion or another, and most have 'bent her ear' with their stories that have about family, loved ones, secret lovers, etc ... some a on a regular basis. Sophie has kept up with a lot of the news over the years, through her business, births, weddings, funerals, anniversaries, apologies, birthdays, and the miriad of other dates that have required her floral skills.
After 40 years of owning & operating her flower shop, what better place to retire to than the trailer park, where many of her friends & aquaintances live. She loves the social activities, the shopping & the 'family-type' atmosphere; it seems most people welcome her warmly. This unassuming little lady knows many secrets about many of the residents, but, so far, they have been safe with her. She has a secret of her own, which no one would ever dream of!!
Sophie has a garden where she grows lovely flowers & still does up an occassional bouquet for some extra pocket money. It's been rather challenging, without running water, to maintain her garden, but being both industrious & keen-minded, she has overcome that challenge.
Some of her neighbors appear to be appropriately living on the wrong side of the tracks, but Sophie is not quick to judge. Who knows what sorts of new friends are lurking behind those tawdry reputations??
Stop in any time, Sohpie is a great listener and takes mostly anyone under her wing.
Her trailer has been ordered, but the manufacturer has been very slow in hiring the appropriate workers to put it together & get it delivered to this dear lady.

Sophie Rose lives just about a mile awayfrom the Good Times Trailer Park, , down Highway 149,
She really is a dear, spreading sunshine & wisdom (from her many years of life's experiences) with one and all. Some call her a spinster, but Sophie just says she's single ... always has been, always will be. What bothers her is not that she never married, but that she has no children of her own. Because of this, she treats most folk like she would treat her own family, if she had one.
Before her retirement, Sophie owned and operated the one-and-only florist's shop, Petal Pushers, in the nearby town. Many of the glorious blooms came directly from her own garden, which she still fastidiously maintains, all by herself. Now, when she visits the Sunshine Cafe to meet up with her friends living in the trailer park, Sophie brings her flowers for them. Many of these friends had beginnings as customers who bought her floral creations for weddings, births, funerals, anniversaries, birthdays and any other occasion where they were necessary.
To some of the older residents, Sophie is almost part of their families. What's not to love about this spunky, simple little soul? Well, a handful of married people have regretted using her florist shop to send flowers to, hmmmmmm, let's just say to someone 'other' than their spouse! But this little lady has kept their secrets safe so far, so why should they continue to fret about it?
If the park residents need flowers, Sophie will gladly fill their orders from her private garden.
