Dick and Dorla by Cathy MacArthur

"I would like you to meet  Dick and Dorla.  Dorla was actually born
here in the Good Times Trailer Park.  Unit 5 belongs to her mother –
we’ll meet her later.  Several years ago, Dorla moved back in to take
care of Mama.  Hubby Dick was none too happy, until he discovered the
property backed right up to the Diner and Bingo Hall!  Now he spends
most evenings hanging out in one of those two spots, since there’s not
much room inside the old trailer – a small 1950’s model.  Dorla has
really taken to the trailer life.  With some of Dick’s Bingo winnin’s,
she bought herself a rifle and has been regularly shootin’ squirrels –
she skins them out back and they make good eatin’!  Dick just puts up
with all of it, as you can see from his expression.  Besides, he’s
lucky to still have a decent lookin’ wife!  They’re all lookin’
forward to Glitzy’s wedding this month.  Maybe Dick will put on a tie."

Thanks!
Cathy McArthur

P.S.  I was married at 22 to a fellow whose mother lived in a trailer;
she shot and ate squirrels - the absolute TRUTH!  That marriage ended
early!
