Dear Tye,
My name Chloe. I live in trailer #12 with my sister, Rachel, brothers, Mikey, Stevie and Billy. My mom is Linda and my dad is Billy, Sr.
My Pa is down on his luck. He won an all expenses paid trip to Vegas and gambled everything, the house, the car, the boat, Ma's wedding ring, well, you get the picture.
We had to move in with our granny. Pa's kind of depressed now and all he does nowadays is sit in front of the TV and drink beer. So Mikey, Stevie and Billy do what they can. They've been working on the cars you see out front, trying to make some extra money.
My Ma, she's beautiful. She's trying out for Mrs. America. So she spends her spare time getting all gussied up and on the road. She's not home much.
Our granny is retired. She used to make dolls but Pa gambled away the kiln too!
Rachel & I try to help out around the house. Ma's gone a lot and Grandma and Pa are busy trying to get on some game shows so they can win some money.
Can you helps us, Tye? Grandma's trailer is awfully small for all of us. We need more room. Us girls sleep on the sofabed in the living room but it's hard to sleep with granny and Pa watching TV all the time. The boys sleep out side in a tent.
