5 Rules for the list
Follow these simple rules to enjoy our list.
Greetings! Here are the 5 basic rules to our list. I'd like you to keep in mind --- this is our HOBBY ... not a life or death situation <G>. With as big a family as ours ... its easy to *read something* into an email that wasn't there to begin with. My favorite solution to most problems over the last 10 years ... GLOSS GLOSS GLOSS and use the *delete* key if not interested in message.
For those that break the rules - we now have a virtual *swear jar* ... hahah I mean *rule breaking jar*. Instead of a wet noodle. A fun way to help out our events ... and help you remember the 5!!! simple rules below. This also allows newer members to post without fear or being admonished ... this is after all ... something FUN.
Rule #1 - Text and Photos
Please send all text (regular emails) to the minidoll list group ... and a photo of your work (with short description) to the minidollPix group.
RULE #2 - *Posting* the next day
Many many people try to *stretch* the auction or sales day by bringing up things the day after, with the common *but I'm on digest and just read it* comment. The rules are posted ... you know what days you can post sale items (see #4 below).
Rule #3 - 4 line Signature Line
Please limit the signature line in your emails to no more then 4 lines. This is one of my goals to make emails faster to read for those on digest. In order to help new members find us --- if you post something for sale in our group... we appreciate a link back to our www.minidollLIST.com website. This can be in your email or on your website. *Proud supporter of minidollLIST.com is all thats necessary.
Rule #4 - Posting of Sales Rules
-your WEBSITE LINK
-your Dolls/Doll Supplies/Tutorials
-your Class Online - OTHER THAN minidollU classes
-any Miniature Items
-any Shows/Meetings
-If you are posting something OFF TOPIC .....please put OT in subject line
-Do not hit reply when answering an email to the list
-When at all possible - respond to the person in private for chit chat/non-doll subjects
